Bellefaire JCB is seeking a full-time Case Manager that will support Bellefaire JCB’s Mentoring Program for Foster Youth. This employee will be responsible for maintaining contact and providing support with their caseload of mentoring matches and guardians on a monthly basis. The Case Manager will conduct monthly group and individual support sessions to assist Mentors in their role. This person should be extremely organized and able to consistently manage deadlines for oneself and the Mentors enrolled, as contacts with Mentors, guardians, and children must be completed on a pre-determined schedule. This employee will lead the Mentoring Program’s mentorship orientation, match openings and closings, and other special events as needed.
Candidates must have a minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field, and a valid LSW or LPC is required. Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, as well as nontraditional living situations a plus. Sensitivity relating to persons of various backgrounds and ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes, and abilities is also desired. Working occasional weekend days and some evenings will be expected to maintain contact with mentorship matches. As a result, the workday will be flexible to include these commitments.
