Intake and Healthcare Coordinator- Lifeworks

Position Description: The Intake and Healthcare Coordinator will be directly responsible for management of general business operations related to client intake, client healthcare coordination, system-wide data tracking, record keeping, compliance, case management, billing, and service integration between Lifeworks departments and affiliated agencies, as well as outside entities, such as the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, and other provider agencies.  The Intake & Healthcare Coordinator will coordinate essential organizational processes and systems with independent judgement.  The Coordinator will serve as a senior liaison to Wingspan Care Group’s Risk Management division, to delegated nursing representatives, to physicians’ offices, involved pharmacies, involved nutritionists, and managed care providers.  This position will report directly to the Executive Director. 


A Master’s degree and clinical license is required.  Must be familiar with clinical intake procedures, must be computer literate, including some knowledge in database management systems, and have both strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
