Bellefaire JCB has hourly positions available in our Food Service Department. Applicant must have at least one year experience as a cook. Knowledge of proper food handling, preparation, sanitation & storage required. Experience with Child Nutrition Programs helpful; Serv Safe certified a plus. Deliver food, stock kitchenettes, prepare hot & cold meals, clean & sanitize food service areas & equipment; some heavy lifting, pushing carts, sweeping & mopping required.
The Food Service Department operates Monday through Friday 7am-7:30pm. The current available shifts are to prepare lunch & dinner, stocking & cleaning, plus fill-in as needed for vacations/time off.
Minimum High School diploma or GED. Applicant must be at least 21 years old.
Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities. Applicant must have the ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
