Foster Care and Adoption Administrative Secretary/Licensing Specialist

Bellefaire JCB is looking for an Administrative Secretary/Licensing Specialist to perform specific duties as assigned by the Supervisor and various other duties as may be appropriate to the department and Agency.  The Licensing Specialist ensures that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.  Discretion must be exercised in handling written and verbal material, which may be confidential, and of a personal nature.  The Licensing Specialist demonstrates initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and organizational thoroughness.  The Licensing Specialist must be able to interact with, and have impact upon, a wide range of professionals with varied backgrounds.

Bachelor’s degree with 3- 5 years of technical office experience, training, education or an equivalent. 

Input and maintain accurate, timely client information in state and agency computer programs.  Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and Access to generate reports as needed; expertise in Clinician’s Desktop a plus.
